This weekend, from coast to coast, Canadians will be taking the time to remember the history of Canadian democracy and the freedom that Canadian soldiers gave to our nation and society. The fight for rights and peace in the world has helped shaped Canada as one of the most peaceful, accepting and equal nations in the world. All because of the sacrifices that our friends, families and complete strangers gave us some time ago.
